Alec Price completed the University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture's Master Farm Manager Program.

Price Family Farm becomes the official registered farm name

The Tennessee Department of Agriculture registered PRICE FAMILY FARM as the official family farm name for use in Greene County, Tennessee.

Building the growing space

Raised beds, containers, seed-starting supplies, and protected growing space turned a home lot into a working production system.

  • Containers now span 3, 5, 7, 10, 15, 20, and 25 gallons.
  • A 10×12 greenhouse and two climate-controlled indoor grow tents extend the production and propagation season.

February 2026Orchard

The first orchard trees go in

The first fruit trees were planted, marking the practical beginning of the orchard and the farm's first growing season.

  • Tree fruit and perennial plantings began building the long-term side of the farm.
  • The orchard will be tracked here by season as bloom, pruning, grafting, survival, and harvest records accumulate.
